A Helpful Boy

One early and bright morning, Peter was going to school He waited patiently for the bus. Soon the bus arrived. He boarded the bus with his teacher. They took the same bus. The bus was packed like sardines.        After a while, an old woman boarded the bus. She carried a heavy basket, full of groceries. However, there was no empty seat. Peter was gracious and kind. He gave up his seat to her.        After a few bus stops, the old woman wanted to alight. Peter helped her carry the basket. She thanked him for being a thoughtful boy.        When Peter arrived at the school, the teacher praised him. She was proud that Peter was a kind and helpful boy!
