One morning, it was raining cats and dogs. Amos was alone at home. He was watching television. Soon, his mother returned home from the market with a wet umbrella. The water dripped onto the floor.
Then, his mother went to the kitchen. Amos took a towel and a bucket from the kitchen. He knelt on the floor. Then, he soaked up the water on the floor with a towel.
Amos wrung the water into the bucket. The floor was almost dry. He knew how to do it properly. Amos was helpful and well-behaved.
Then, Amos continued to watch television. Amos’ mother came out with a mop. She was surprised to see that the floor was dry and clean. She was happy.
