FEAST OF DEDICATION (Heb. Hanukkah aka Feast of Lights) celebrated in NOV or DEC, it commemorates the revolt and victory of the Maccabees (Hasmoneans) against Antiochus Epiphanes of Syria and the rededication of the temple in 165 BC.
