Irene's Sharing: A Love Gift For My Lord  中文版

"For if the willingness is there,
the gift is acceptable according what one has,
not according to what he does not have."

(2 Corinthians 8:12)

It's my birthday again, which means I'm a year more matured! Indeed I need also to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. I decided to:

1. Do my devotion daily and write my devotion diary.
   
   
2. Pray for different needs daily, for loved one, teachers, government & church leaders, the weak, missionaries, Christian Communications Ltd and myself.
   
   
3. Memorise a Bible verse according to the scripture memory plan.
   
   
4. Pray with my husband Chris more often.
   
   
5. Read and recommend a spiritual book every month.
   
   
6. Share the Gospel with at least 1 person every week.
   
   
7. Pray for salvation of my parents daily.

This is a love gift for my Lord.

Thanksgiving:

1. Thank the Lord for guiding me through my preparations and training of teachers on 4/3/06 Easter Seminar. 74 teachers from 24 churches signed up. The lessons and book sales were good.
   
   
2. Thank God for each open door to churches for training and teaching. Pray for one church for training teachers and teaching kids.
   
   
3. Thank the Lord for Singapore Expo Book Fair which Christian Communications Ltd took part too. The response was good, many heard the Gospel through personal contacts, we found many good materials to set up our teachers resource centre.
   
   
4. Thank the Lord who helped me to train 40 children ministry teachers from a church. As they are equipped to serve, may God's name be glorified.
   
   
5. Thank the Lord for guiding my eldest son Isaac into K1. He loves to go to school and has best friends too.
   
   
6. Thank the Lord for the joy of celebrating my birthday as a family.
   
   
7. Thank the Lord for helping me to share the Gospel with my 82 year-old grandma, I watched the VCD testimony with her and my parents, and we went for a Christian concert together. Trust that the Gospel seeds in their hearts will flourish one day.

Please pray with me:

1. Pray that the Lord will guide me in my preparations & teaching for April-June, in churches and children centres.
   
   
2. Pray that the Lord will provide the funds to develop my training ministry with CCL, for buying of good teaching materials for my resource center, courses and books to equip myself, computer ink for printing of training materials, publications of children's books.
   
   
3. Pray that the Lord will provide 1 or 2 churches a month for me to train kids' teachers/parents.
   
   
4. Pray that the Lord will grant me patience to lead Isaac & Isaiah to build good habits/characters and help them love to learn God's truth.
   
   
5. Pray that the Lord will help Chris and me to delight in sharing our devotional thoughts and have family worship together.
   
   
6. Pray that the Lord will be merciful to our unsaved parents and siblings and that we will pray for their salvation without ceasing.
