Praise In The Midst of Pain 中文版 Jul-Sep 07

"Though the fig tree does not bud and there is no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior
. The Sovereign Lord is my strength,
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights."

(Habakkuk 3:17-19)

Recently I experienced great discomfort and pain through my sore throat and toothache which linked to headache a few days, until I distract that tooth. Thro it all, my heart clings on to God dearly, pleading for His mercies every moment. I asked a few closer friends to pray for me. God is good indeed He sent relief thro the dentist. I began to be more emphatic and pray earnestly for those who are suffering in sickness & in bed. I used to love singing praises in my heart but it seems to be silent recently. God brought me to the spot to seek Him earnestly and praise Him continually again. And also to face the problem and solve it!

“Why me Lord?” We always ask God in the midst of our pain. But God said: “Why not? So that you would seek Me earnestly and find Me directly.” “Yes Lord! I’m sorry I had often use other things to cover up myself, thank you Lord. You search me and know me fully. I will praise You with all my heart.” (Psalm 139)

There were times we didn’t see fruits or light in our ministries. Yet we were reminded to look up & focus on the Lord again. For He sees our labour of love, press on, wait and hope in Him. Seeds of the Gospel and His Words sown will flourish in due time. Persevere on!

All glory be unto the Lord.

My Thanksgiving: ( A Thanksgiving and A Prayer A Day)

I thank the Lord for guiding us thro 4 family camps teaching in June 07.His grace is sufficient. We had reached 95 children, 14 salvation and 90% of the children consecrated their lives to God.

I thank the Lord for refreshing time in Awana with my family, looking at the beautiful God’s creations draws our hearts closer to God.

I thank the Lord for new friends and old friends in the Lord.

I thank the Lord for my prayer partners and supporters who have been faithfully praying for me and supporting my ministry. May the Lord reward you.

I thank the Lord for the opportunity to facilitate "Parenting with Confidence" course.

I thank the Lord for providing Christian Communications Singapore a new premise to settle down. Thank Him for all the efforts put in by our staff and friends.

I thank the Lord for my parents support and help in taking care of Isaac and Isaiah whenever I had teaching ministry.

Please pray with me.

Pl pray for the Lord’s guidance and open doors for my teaching and training ministries in CCS. For wisdom and creativity for developing new programs for teachers/children’s days. For funds on overseas missions/courses.

Pl pray for good preparations for Nov/Dec missions and camps teaching.

Pl pray for time to update my friends contacts list.

Pl pray for wisdom to master computer sketch & draw skills for teaching ministries.

Pl pray for my July-Sept schedule, 2 Parenting with Confidence courses, two preschool chapels teaching. Hope to form Punggol parent support group too.

Pl pray for wisdom to maximise CCS resources for churches spiritual development.

Pl pray for our parents and loved ones salvation. Pray that our family will be a living testimony for the Lord.
