Jonny Olsen - Khene Player
The traditional folk music is called "lum" or "mor lum" which means expert song or singer. It involves singing accompanied by a wind instrument called a khene. This music style is also found in Isan, northeast Thailand.

The khene comprises of a double row of hollow bamboo pipes (of different lengths) connected to a small, hollowed-out hardwood sound-box into which air is blown. The video shows Thai-resident musician Jonny Olsen playing the khene.
